Looking back up to the city from the Amur promenade. The whole layout of the terraced gardens is reminiscent of the Victorian/Edwardian era parks in Melbourne and northern English cities.One could easily imagine ladies with parasols and gents wearing boaters, in bright summer sunlight, as they promenade along the river edge.
